More about our mortgage advisor team
Nicky Young
I’ve worked in Financial Services for 34 years and have been providing mortgage advice and helping people buy their homes for the last 29 years.
Let’s face it there probably isn’t a scenario I haven’t come across in that time. I aim to provide professional but friendly advice, and I’ll make mortgages easier to understand especially if you’re buying your first home and this is all totally new to you.
When I’m not at work, you’ll generally find me with family and friends, curled up with my kindle, or planning my next holiday with my husband.
Gary Andrews
I have worked in financial service industry since 2005 and have been in a mortgage advisor role since 2009. My time in the advisor role has given me a wealth of knowledge and I enjoy supporting customers with their mortgage requirements. I’m here to help you every step on the way, from your first contact with the Society through to completion on your new mortgage.
Outside of work, I like spending time with my wife, daughter, family, and friends. I also enjoy watching sports including football and cricket.
Gabi Worthington
I’ve worked for Teachers Building Society for 12 years and covered different roles during this time. I have been in the mortgage advisor role for 9 years now and really enjoy being able to personally support customers through the mortgage process, from initial enquiry through to moving in, I’m here to share my expertise.
Outside of work, I spend my time running around after my toddler, and going on long walks with my dog Scooby.
Josh Groves
I joined Teachers Building Society 2 years ago and have 10 years’ experience in the financial services sector. I initially started within the Society’s underwriting team. Given my experience, personality, and mortgage qualifications I have been able to progress into the mortgage advisor role with the Society. I really enjoy supporting customers through the home buying process and the personal contact from the first call to you moving in.
Outside of work I enjoy watching football & darts, going on holidays, and attending music events.
