Marketing Assistant
Location: Wimborne, Dorset / Hybrid
Full time - 35 hours per week

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic Marketing department. In this role, you will support the delivery of marketing activities that promote the building society’s products, services, and Teacher community values.
Key accountabilities
- Keep our printed and digital literature up to date and technically accurate (an eye for detail is essential);
- Edit our website and help us spot opportunities to improve it and add new content;
- Draft and send marketing and service emails using our digital email platform (Dotdigital);
- Support the business with ad-hoc marketing requests: anything from updating a form to writing a guide, drafting an internal communication to acting as a brand guardian and ensuring our logo and other assets are as they should be;
- Be passionate about teachers (and those working in the education profession), home-ownership and saving;
- Build relationships internally and liaise with our compliance team: as a regulated business we have to be compliant in all financial promotions;
- Be a confident communicator: represent the marketing team internally, be able to communicate with stakeholders internally and externally with confidence;
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- PDF editing plus great on Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Experience managing SharePoint sites (we can teach you this if you haven’t done it before!).
- Experience editing websites using a content management system.
- Experience using digital email platforms.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment; experience in financial services or a regulated industry would be a huge tick.
- Planning, creating, editing and posting social media including video.
- Be questioning, communicative and proactive; we need someone who spots opportunities, raises them and then cracks on.
